Crafting

Crafting is the process of turning crafting materials into equipment, items and consumables. There are five different crafting professions that can be learned from the corresponding profession mentors in SilverLit. Each character can only learn one profession but can be changed at the cost of forgetting the learned profession, proficiency level and mastered diagrams will remain. Previously learned profession goes on cooldown once changed and cannot be relearned during the cooldown.

Tools

To craft items through professions, players first need to acquire the appropriate collecting/crafting tools. These tools can be purchased through in-game currencies or obtained as drops in Elite Dungeons.

Materials

Besides tools, crafting items costs a variety of materials, which can be obtained through collecting or purchasing in the Trade Center. The quality of a crafted item depends on the quality of the materials used. You are more likely to craft a superior item using high-quality materials.

Each profession allows players to collect different materials. Upon learning a particular profession, players will receive their basic collecting tools. More advanced collecting tools can be obtained through Forging or purchased in the Trade Center.

Most of the collection materials are scattered all over the world map, waiting for warriors to discover. However, collecting consumes a lot of Vigor, which means players need to manage their game time wisely.

Proficiency

Each time an item is successfully crafted, the proficiency of that profession will be raised. Some items have certain profession proficiency requirements. With increasing proficiency, players will be able to unlock more complicated Diagrams.

Profession specialization

After reaching a certain proficiency level, players can choose a specialization direction for that profession. Each profession specialization has a different effect, such as increasing collecting/crafting efficiency, reducing Vigor cost, and increasing the quality or yield of a certain item.

After choosing a specialization direction, players can further enhance the collecting, processing, and crafting abilities of that direction via the talent tree.
